OUT OF THE BLUE GLAZED HAM

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cooked ham, about 3 to 4 pounds
  • 1/2 can (8oz) + extra for glaze, Out Of The Blue
  • Blueberry Wheat
  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Enough beer to make a smooth paste

DIRECTIONS

Step 1 – Heat oven to 350 °F. Place ham, uncovered in a roast pan. Pour the one cup of Out Of The Blue Blueberry Wheat over the ham; bake for 1 hour

Step 2 – Baste with pan drippings every 15 minutes

Step 3 – Meanwhile combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl, using enough Out Of The Blue Blueberry Wheat to make a smooth, paste-like glaze

Step 4 – Remove ham from oven and score fat diagonally in a crisscross pattern. Spread beer glaze on ham

Step 5 – Roast for 30 to 45 minutes longer or until well glazed and cooked through (internal temperature of 140°F)
