SLOW COOKER OUT ‘N ABOUT STOUT CARAMELIZED ONION DIP

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 large sweet onions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup (4 oz) Out ‘n About Stout
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

DIRECTIONS

Step 1 – Thinly slice the white onions

Step 2 – Add the onions, butter, brown sugar, Out ‘n About Stout  and salt to a slow cooker

Step 3 – Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until soft and dark. Stir occasionally

Step 4 – Add the cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire, and garlic powder

Step 5 – Cook on low for two hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in the pepper, salt to taste

Step 6 – Add to a serving dish, sprinkle with green onions
